The location was convenient for my plans, and I appreciated the friendly cleaning staff. However, I reported a stolen wallet after the cleaning person visited and received no assistance with the incident, which was disappointing.

Awesome staff make a difference!
Checked in super late and Amber at the front desk was sooo friendly! She totally brightened my 1:15 AM arrival. The location was solid too, and the snack bar was a nice pick-me-up. Only issue was the room could’ve been cleaner. definitely not up to Hampton standards. But I had a nice stay overall.

Oh boy, did I find some delicious gems nearby! Showmars had me diving into some tasty Greek-style dishes, while Bojangles hit the spot with their crispy chicken—pure bliss after a long day! Plus, the staff was friendly and the cleaning crew earned their stripes. They were on it!
Now about breakfast—definitely didn't hit the mark on two of the three days, and that firm bed worked against my beauty sleep.

During my recent stay, I appreciated the cozy seating area in my room, which was perfect for unwinding after a long day. The comfortable beds really made a difference in getting a good night's sleep. Our stay at Hampton Inn Charlotte University Place was very enjoyable. The room had a cozy seating area perfect for relaxing after a long day, and the Cloud Nine bed made for an incredibly comfortable night’s sleep. The location was convenient for our plans, with easy access to local attractions.
The breakfast options could have been more varied.

missingWrote a review on 02 Jullimited breakfast
The breakfast selection could use some variety to make it less mundane. A few details in the room, like the old carpet and a fridge with marks on it, gave a worn-out impression. A noisy cleaning crew in the mornings didn't help with the overall comfort, making it hard to catch some extra Z's. I noticed the pool area was zip tied shut despite great weather, which was a letdown since I was hoping to take a dip. Lastly, I dealt with a lack of maid service despite requesting it. I ended up gathering my own trash, which is not exactly what I expect when I pay for a room.
